I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a doctorate in computer systems and engineering. I have worked on issues relating to quality of service assurances in wired and wireless networks. Recently I have concentrated on Layer 3 VPN provisioning issues, traffic matrix estimation and characterization. My resume is here: a short version and a little more descriptive one.
Prior to Juniper, I worked with the advanced technology group at Nortel Networks, on an intelligent provisioning layer that enabled networks to proactively adapt to application bandwidth demands. Such capabilities are especially important when bandwidth requirements can be very large as in the case of Grid Computing applications and dedicated links would not be feasible.
Prior to joining RPI, I worked for a year at Novell at the Bangalore center after graduating from KREC, Surathkal. All my school years were spent in Bangalore (KM School, St. Josephs Indian, Vijaya High, MES College).
